It is an antioxidant vitamin, necessary for the proper functioning of the body and the health of the skin. Its main roles include the regulation of redox reactions, its participation in the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, as well as in the formation of connective tissue. In addition, it affects the functioning of the endocrine glands, has a favorable effect in cases of infection by infectious causes and protects fat-soluble vitamins from oxidation. At the same time, it is necessary for the effective functioning of the immune system, while it exhibits anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties.
NOW C-1000 contains wild rosehip fruit powder, which accelerates and maximizes the absorption and effectiveness of vitamin C by the body.
This product is slow release and is designed to be released gradually over a period of 2 hours.
